In short: we collect the details you give us so an advisor can contact you and help with a loan. We share them with a bank or NBFC only to process an application you want to make, we do not sell them, and you can ask us to see, correct or delete them at any time by writing to support@advancecred.com.
1. Who we are
This website, advancecred.com, is run by AdvanceCred Fintech Solutions Pvt Ltd ("AdvanceCred", "we", "us"), 205, Accord Commercial Complex, Above HDFC Bank, Opposite Bus Depot, Near Goregaon Railway Station, Goregaon East, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400063.
AdvanceCred is a credit advisory and loan intermediation firm. We are not a bank or NBFC and do not lend money. For the personal data you give us, we are the "Data Fiduciary" under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).
2. What personal data we collect
What you give us on our forms, in the website chat, on calls, by WhatsApp or by email. Depending on the form, this can include:
- your name, mobile number, email address and city;
- your employment type, employer or company name, designation or profession and years of service;
- your monthly take-home salary, the loan amount you need and its purpose;
- your existing loans, EMIs and credit card dues (number of loans, amounts outstanding, monthly payments), whether any payment is overdue, and a credit score range if you share one;
- whether you or a family member own a house or flat, if you ask about a loan against property;
- anything else you choose to write in a message.
Our website forms and chat do not ask for your bank account or card numbers, passwords, PINs or OTPs. Please never share an OTP or password with anyone who says they are calling from AdvanceCred.
What is recorded automatically when you use the site: your IP address, browser and device type, the page you were on and the time of your visit. Our servers record this to keep the website running and secure, and to tell us which page an enquiry came from.
3. Why we use it
- To contact you about your enquiry and understand your situation.
- To work out which loan options may suit you, such as a personal loan, a debt consolidation loan, a balance transfer or a loan against property.
- With your consent, to share your details with the bank or NBFC you decide to apply to, and to help you with that application.
- To send you messages about your enquiry or application by phone, SMS, WhatsApp or email.
- To protect the website and our users from fraud, spam and misuse.
- To meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising by other companies.
4. Your consent
When you tick the consent box on a form or start the chat, you agree that we may use your details for the purposes above. You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to support@advancecred.com. After that we will stop contacting you and stop using your data, except where we must keep it by law. Withdrawing consent does not affect what was done before, and a lender that already has your application handles it under its own policy.
5. Who we share it with
- Banks and NBFCs: only the lender or lenders you choose to apply to, and only the details needed to process your application. Each lender then uses your data under its own privacy policy and may check your credit report as part of its own assessment. The lender decides approval, amount, interest rate and tenure.
- Service providers who host our website, run our email and store our records for us, only to provide that service.
- Authorities such as courts, regulators or law enforcement, when the law requires us to.
6. Cookies and similar storage
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. The website stores a few small settings in your browser so it works as you expect: whether you accepted or declined cookies, and whether you have already used or closed the chat. You can clear them in your browser settings at any time; the site will simply ask again.
7. How long we keep it
We keep your personal data for as long as we need it for your enquiry and any loan application that follows, and for as long as the law requires us to keep records. When it is no longer needed, or when you ask us to delete it and no law requires us to keep it, we delete it.
8. How we protect it
The website uses HTTPS, so what you type is encrypted on the way to us. Our lead records are kept in a system that needs a staff login. We take reasonable security measures to prevent unauthorised access, loss or misuse. If a personal data breach affects you, we will inform you and the Data Protection Board of India as the DPDP Act requires.
9. Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you can:
- Ask what we hold: a summary of your personal data we process, and who we have shared it with.
- Correct or update it, or complete what is missing.
- Ask us to delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it.
- Withdraw your consent (see section 4).
- Nominate someone to use these rights for you if you die or become unable to.
- Raise a grievance with us (section 10), and if you are not satisfied with our response, complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
To use any of these rights, write to support@advancecred.com from the email address or with the mobile number you gave us, so we can confirm it is you.

11. Children
Our services are for adults applying for loans. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us their details, write to us and we will delete them.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our services or the law change. The date at the top shows the latest version. For significant changes, we will tell people whose data we hold.
